The concept of IPL was chalked out by one of the most unsuccessful scion of the Modi Empire, Lalit Modi. He entered BCCI in 1992. He does a marvellous job in developing this game. Finally in 2007 he came up with the killer concept of IPL. He worked exceptionally well to monetises it as a cash cow for BCCI. kudos to him. He went on to make IPL a huge success. Today he

Got the point. When i first come to know about this revenue model, i was taken aback by figures. Everybody is curious to invest millions of dollars into the game. Look at the auction price of the two new teams( Pune and Kochi). Amazingly high. This tells the business acumen of Lalit modi how smartly he design each and everything in the model.
Today IPL provides platform to the number of talented players in the country and has ensured an unending source of talented players for our national team. Now i am concluding my blog by saying that- Nobody can stop an idea whose time has arrived .
